German Pop-Duo Ivy Flindt , unveiled their captivating of performance Lonely Boy live at Volksbad

Sensational German Indie-Pop duo Ivy Flindt has unveiled their captivating performance of “Lonely Boy” live at Volksbad. Having recently released their full length live album, In Every Move - Live At Rockpalast, Ivy Flindt are the artist taking over the European music scene. Known for their unique blend of intensely passionate and sophisticated soundscapes, “Lonely Boy” is no exception.

Despite playing to an empty room, the unmistakable and infectious energy of a live show is at the very heart of this video. Rich in delicate melodies and heartbreakingly smooth vocals, “Lonely Boy” is a stunning and sophisticated Blues inspired track in its original recording, but with the additional magic that comes with a live performance it soars even higher.

When asked about the track Cate Martin, vocalist and songwriter, shared:

“This track was painful to write but is so fun to perform on stage!”

Having made their debut back in 2018 with “In Every Move”, Ivy Flindt have since gone on to spin a spellbinding career for themselves, filled with enthralling tracks and esteemed slots on the most acclaimed stages. With a virtual performance booked in at The Great Escape Festival 2021, on May 14th, Ivy Flindt have already treated us to numerous online concerts over the past twelve months including gracing the famous Elbphilharmonie Hamburg stage earlier this year for an exclusive live stream concert.

With even more exciting performances to come, they have been invited to perform at the currently postponed MUSEXPO in LA and Spot Festival in Aarhus after playing at XPO North in Scotland back in 2019. As a band that has played on the highest of stages, Ivy Flindt are offering their fans an intimate deep dive into their musical inspirations with an exclusive Fireplace Session where they cover three of their favourite tracks in a stripped back and vulnerable performance.

With an entrancing soundscape courtesy of Micha Holland, and hypnotically enchanting vocals from Cate Martin, this remarkable duo is only at the beginning of what is sure to be a sensational career. “Lonely Boy” serves as a magnetic and melancolic representation of the potential of this emerging duo.
